Before installation, the model, specification and pipeline configuration of the metal compensator shall be checked, which must meet the design requirements. For the compensator with inner sleeve, attention shall be paid to make the direction of the inner sleeve consistent with the medium flow direction, and the hinge rotation plane of the hinge compensator shall be consistent with the displacement rotation plane. For the compensator requiring "cold tightening", the auxiliary components used for pre-deformation shall be removed after the pipeline is installed; it is forbidden to use the method of corrugated compensator deformation to adjust the installation tolerance of the pipeline, so as not to affect the normal function of the metal compensator, reduce the service life and increase the load of the piping system, equipment and supporting components.
